Maus II
One questions that I was hoping would get addressed further was about the sudden change between the masks and then mice heads on human bodies and why the writer was wearing that mask. It was discussed but I felt that we could of done more with it and gone in more depth with it. That was the only question that I had that was not fully discussed. The discussion went well, who ever wanted to talk did. The book so far is interesting and gives helpful insight into what happened during that time.

News about Congo
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/country_profiles/1076399.stm
The article is describing the death toll of the fighting in the Congo. The article also talks vaguely about the history about how the country is always in a civil war and has dealt with corruption. It talks about the alarming death rate and that people are dying from either gun fighting or malnutrition or exposer. It also talks abouts the efforts to stop the fighting, but it also states that there is still fighting going on and that it will not stop any time soon.
What is being done by countries out side Africa to help the Congo?

The article addresses the crimes that are going on. It hints that the army may have committed genocide. A peace activist is quoted saying that there are rapes and mass killings going on and that someone needs to step in and help the innocent. The UN has found evidence for the claims the peace activists are pushing.
Who will take responsibility and who is actually to blame?
